We use the mobile devices' Bluetooth, Location and NFC to allow them to scan in at the Kisi Reader at your gym's entrance point. The reader communicates with Gymflow via the internet to check if the person is a paying member and signals to open the door if they are, all in about 1 second!
Yes, only simple wiring is required for power to the reader, the lock and the controller. The controller and reader both require an internet connect, the reader can use a WiFi connection if you don't want to run a cable. Any local security or electrical company could also install it.
